Lucky Dube Live in the Hague

One of the great fathers of reggae appeared today in The Hague, Lucky Dube! After having a quick snack after the KFC we went to Paard of Troje to listen to this mans chants. Playing 2 hours and 30 minutes we heard songs like: House of Exile, Feel Irie, I've got you, Remember and Truth in the World, just to name a few. This Lucky's last world tour and he will be misted on stage. Peace out.

Gregory Isaacs in Melkweg Amsterdam

One of reggae legends was in Melkweg yesterday. The king: Gregory Isaacs. After a very long long looooong support act of Live Wyah, Uncle Gregory hit us with some of that sweet music. Thanks for entertaining us Gregory ;) Shout out to Pomo, Rouel and Sommy.

Richie Spice in Melkweg Amsterdam

11th of oktober one of my biggest hero's in reggae was in Melkweg Amsterdam. The show was blaaazziinng. Beginning with Blood Again and right after that hitting you with Earth a run red. Unbelievable! Shout out to Bigiskin, Bolle, Rick James Bitch and Rachel!

Gentleman Live in Flamboyant Park

One of the greatest reggae bands of all time has given one of the greatest reggae shows of all time. I quote: "Gentleman hasn't seen such a crowd in 15 years of playing on stage". That makes me feel so proud of being Surinamese. The crowd was awesome. 16000 people filled the stage area, jumping and chanting everyone of Otto's sounds. This will certainly not be the last time that Gentleman and the Far East Band will be in Suriname.

Buju Banton in Nighttown Rotterdam

One of my alltime favourite reggae artist, who has inspired me for over 15 years was in Rotterdam. The show was awesome. A few os the songs played: Murderer, Wanna be loved, Love Sponge, Mr Nine, Champion. July 6th TOK will be in Rotterdam. I think I might go too ;)
